Harvard Business School hosts one of the most influential business plan contests in the country.Previous finalists have gone on to build great businesses, including some you’ve probably heard of: Rent the Runway, Birchbox, and Cloud Flare, to name a few.Eligible startups need to have launched a MVP and should have not raised significant investment rounds, as well as have at least one founder from the MENA region, or focus on the MENA market with their product or service.

The Arab Conference at Harvard, a prominent pan-Arab conference in US, has commenced its call for applications for its startup pitching competition.

Now in its 11 edition, and under the theme of ‘Claiming tomorrow,’ the conference seeks to bridge political, economic and social differences of the region, as well as focus on notable solutions from the region.

Others’ ventures eventually IPO or get acquired for millions of dollars.

Many of them create jobs and help transform industries.
